Client Services & Marketing Manager 

Start Date: October 1, 2019 

Location: Puerto Natales, Chile 

Venture Patagonia is looking for an energetic and outgoing individual to elevate and maintain the company's reputation and commitment to a unique and personalized Patagonian experience from start to finish. This position will proactively switch between the two roles depending on the workload and needs of each.

Client Services Roles and Responsibilities:

-Welcome clients upon arrival, give orientation, and assist guests with any requests or questions.

-Confirm reservations and prepare new client folders with itineraries and corresponding bus tickets, vouchers, and client details

-Be 'on-call' beyond regular business hours when necessary in order to address any needs an employee or client may have in transit

-Dial into and assist on all pre-trip client phone calls

-Assist in purchasing and organizing gear daily for excursions

Marketing Roles and Responsibilities: 

-Develop and execute marketing strategies in regards to the website, editing programs, creating and printing materials and social media

-Assist in the creation of client database to use for future marketing efforts

-Maintain and continue developing client database throughout season

-Identify and explore optimal new ways to reach our target audience for new business 

-Create excellent written content for our marketing channels – relevant for each (e.g. social, blog, email, newsletters)


Basic Qualifications: 

-Fluent in English

-Advanced Spanish 

-At least 1 year of experience in tourism & hospitality 

-At least 1 year of experience in marketing


Preferred Qualifications: 

-Excellent customer service skills

-Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

-Strong organizational and administrative skills

-Strong problem-solving ability and ethical awareness

-Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at the same time

-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Docs Suite & indesign

-Experience with data entry, basic reporting, filing, answering phones, scheduling, and communications

-Willingness to learn new technology to enhance office procedures and processes

-Work well under pressure while meeting commitments and ensuring high quality standards are met
