As a passionate equestrian and an avid explorer, I have always sought to combine my love for horses with my adventurous spirit. Two of my favorite trips I have ever done have been immersive camping on horseback.
I’m particularly excited to be co-hosting this trip with Venture Patagonia which gives us private access to two remote and exclusive estancias plus a private regenerative nature reserve bordering the famous Torres Del Paine National Park.

- Locations Visited We will visit Puerto Natales, Estancia Baguales, Torres del Paine National Park, Las Torres Reserve and Estancia La Peninsula

- Arrival & Departure Airport Teniente Julio Gallardo Airport (PNT) located 7km outside of Puerto Natales in Chile
- Cost of trip The price is $8,775 USD /person
- Weather Patagonian weather is notorious for being unpredictable. October is the start of spring in Patagonia with average temperatures ranging from around 5°C (41°F) to 15°C (59°F)
- Terrain The terrain is varied and includes everything from forests and grasslands to mountainous uphill & downhill rides
- Accommodations Accommodations will be shared based on double occupancy in camping tents, glamping domes and hotels. Single supplement is available for the camping tents and hotel nights.
- Horseback experience We recommend experienced riders as this trip will include galloping
What we'll be doing
Day 1
Arrive to Puerto Natales
We will meet you in the Puerto Natales airport & head to the Baguales Mountain Range where we will do an introductory 1 hour ride to meet your horses and settle in at Baguales Glamping.
Day 2
Horseback ride Baguales
Today we will spend the day exploring the highlands of Patagonia, riding through wide open grasslands, up mountains and through valleys.
Day 3
Baguales to Torres del Paine
Wake up with a morning acro or yoga led by Chelsea. After lunch we have our first sights of the magnificent Torres del Paine before arrive to Reserva Las Torres.
Day 4
Horseback ride Cerro Torre
This half day relaxing ride heads up Cerro Torre to view the famous granite towers from above.
Day 5
Horseback ride Reserva Las Torres
Today is set for a day of galloping and exploring hidden corners and off the beaten path locations in Reserva Las Torres.
Day 6
Torres del Paine
Get your feet moving with short walks to lookout points throughout Torres del Paine National Park on our way to the quaint and cozy town of Puerto Natales.
Day 7
Estancia La Peninsula
Sail across the Fjord of Last Hope to reach Estancia La Peninsula where we will learn about regenerative agriculture, tour the estancia, and ride to our accommodation for the night.
Day 8
Riding across La Peninsula
Ride through native forests, along the fjord and up mountains with beautiful views of the surrounding hanging glaciers.
Day 9
Peninsula to Puerto Natales
Easy morning ride and hikes to reach the main part of the estancia for a traditional BBQ lunch before heading back to Puerto Natales for our farewell dinner.
Day 10
Goodbye Patagonia!
Say your farewells to beautiful Patagonia. We will bring you to the Puerto Natales airport for your departure flight.
