We will visit Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina. This includes the Huemul Circuit as well as day hikes.

Weather

Patagonian weather is notorious for being unpredictable. February is the middle of summer in the Southern Hemisphere with average highs around 17-18 C (62-64 F) & the average lows around 6-7 C (43-45 F)

The terrain is varied and includes everything from glaciers and lakes to forests and grasslands.

Comandante Armando Tola International Airport (FTE) located 21 km outside of El Calafate in Argentina

Altitude

Located at the foothills of the Andes, you will begin at sea level and the highest elevation reached is 1,540 meters (5,052 feet) above sea level. It is unlikely to experience altitude sickness.
